The Aspire 5520 laptop boasts a AMD Turion dual core processor running at 2.0GHz which is a very respectable speed in a laptop costing under £400.  The 3GB of memory is suprising and a very welcome addition as it will ensure that the processor is constantly fed data, it is always best to have too much memory than too little. 

The Geforce graphics card is a basic card that will support any media and operating systems graphics. it is not however suitable for any type of graphically intensive gaming or video editing.  The 15.4 inch screen keeps the laptops size to a minimum whilst giving enough viewing area to make the Aspire 5520 comfortable to use.  There is also a 160GB hard disk drive which will be more than enough storage space for most users.  It will store thousands of music, photo and office files easily and if you do need more space then you can always purchase an external hard disk drive to attach to the laptop.

The Aspire 5520 will be a great machine for students and home users that require a computer that is powerful enough to run most common applications and tasks whilst also being an absolute bargain.
