The Intel Atom processor runs at 1.60GHz and is a single core processor which makes it a fairly low powered processor compared to most of the processors available today.  This laptop however comes with Windows XP which it is more than capable of handling easily with great performance especially when combined with the 1GB of memory. 

80GB of storage space, built in webcam and bluetooth connectivity makes the Advent 4211 a great mobile laptop

The Advent 4211 only has an Intel integrated graphics card which will be suitable for the operating system, office applications and media but it will not be able to handle more complex tasks or games.  The 80Gb of storage space provided will be enough to store thousands of music, photo and office files but it may be worth getting an external hard disk drive as well.  The 10 inch screen is small and would not suit anyone looking for a media computer for home but it is perfectly designed to be used in any enviroment whilst on the move.

Advent have made a concerted effort to make the 4211 Netbook Atom in to a great ultra portable laptop by including bluetooth connectivity so that you can connect it to your phone and other media easily.  As well as this there is wireless so that you can use this laptop on wireless hotspots in cities.  The addition of a webcam and microphone built in to the lid allows for easy to use web video calling so that you can stay in touch with friends and family. 

In all the Advent 4211 Netbook Atom is desinged solely to be an ultra portable laptop that does not have many of the draw backs that other small laptops on the market have.  It has plenty of connectivity options so that you can use it for work or pleasure wherever you go.
