This laptop would be suitable for photo and video editting due to the large 17 inch screen and huge 320GB hard disk space provided by the 2 x 160Gb drives inside. For games there is a decent Geforce graphics card which will combine well with the processor and memory letting you play games at a good detail level. The downside to all this performance and disk space is that the laptop does weigh more than average but it is still easily portable especially if you want to use it only at home.

The Sony Vaio AR51M will be suitable for any use except very hardcore gaming and for the price it is an excellent bargain. This laptop also comes with the brand new Blu-Ray optical drive so you can watch Blu-Ray movies on a HDTV.
